The Welcome reward will automatically be applied on the member's first visit to the restaurant following registration. You will receive an e-mail notification when you earn a Reward. At that time you may choose to defer this Reward for a future visit. To do so, you will need to login to your account and select the "Defer Reward" button. All Earned and Birthday Rewards will be deferred until you select to enable the rewards to be used. Please note, deferring the rewards does not extend the expiration period. Earned Rewards expire 12 months from the date issued and Birthday Rewards expire on the 15th of the month following your birthday month. Welcome Rewards cannot be deferred.
Earned Rewards are valid for 12 months from the date awarded. Birthday Rewards are valid starting on the 1st day of your birthday month and expire on the 15th of the month following your birthday month if unused. Rewards will not be reinstated or extended.

- Yes, you can defer up to $300 in rewards. If your account is at the maximum reward balance ($300) you will continue to accrue points for your visits; however, these points will not convert to rewards until the reward balance in your account is less than $300.

Earning cash back: New bonus categories
With its recent refresh, the Chase Freedom Unlimited is on track to be an ideal choice for cardholders who want the best of both worlds: Not only do you earn 1.5% cash back on general purchases, but you’ll also get 5% back on travel purchased through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal, 3% back on dining and on drugstore purchases, and for the first year, and additional 1.5% in each category up to $20,000 spent. Through March 2022, you’ll also earn 5% cash back on Lyft purchases.
This new rewards earning scheme is unique, as most cards that offer bonuses in specific spending categories limit you to a 1% cash back rate on general purchases. Indeed, based on the average consumer’s spending habits, we estimate that the Chase Freedom Unlimited now carries a terrific average rewards rate of just over 2% back. Based on an average spend of $15,900 per year, the average person should earn around $328 per year in cash back with the Chase Freedom Unlimited, about $100 more per year than we’d expect with the card’s traditional cash back program. Of course, you could earn even more if you spend heavily in the card’s bonus categories.

When I signed up for att I purchased the internet/uverse bundle because I was told by the sales representative that I would recieve $300 worth of rewards. After having the service for about a month I called to check when they would be sent and was told that 2 separate prepaid cards would be sent; one in the amount of $200 and another in the amount of $100. I was told that the only requirements were that my account had to be in good standings for at least 45 days before the cards were processed and sent and that it would take 4-8 weeks. After a month and a half I recieved one $100 prepaid card and never recieved the the other.
When I called to inquire about this I was told that it was sent but marked undelivered for whatever reason but the supervisor informed me that she could resend it and I could still redeem it HOWEVER she quoted that it was only another $100.
I am now very frustrated from being redirected to so many different departments and no one has been able to tell me why this $100 is missing. What do I do? Who can I contact to resolve this?

Signed up for the at&t bundle and I was supposed to get a $ 200.00 rewards card. Installation on 10/11/2016. Finally got rid of cable, happy camper. Time passes and we never got a notice to activate our reward. Called at&t (4) different times and was told after several painful transfers that we should receive my reward card in ten days to two weeks. Check ATT.COM/REWARDcenter, no help. call again today same drill, let me connect you to someone that can help you..recording that can not reach now try again later. tried 4 times and now it just rings busy. Just frustrated, $200.00 to an old person on SSI @ 74 years young, is not the end of the world, but I definitely feel that I have been scammed. Live and learn, how quickly do you think i will switch our 2 line cell phone account to this hard to deal with company?? Things really don't have to be this complicated. How about attaching your reward card to your second bill? That wouldn't work, everybody would get there card. They could learn a lot about customer relations by visiting Disney World.

I was promissed a $200 rebate for switcing my internet to att uverse and bundling with direct-tv. I never got the rebate because the rebate department had a different address for me than the billing department. I had called the billing department to tell them my address was wedmore ct SE, smyrna, ga 30080. The rebate department did not have the SE after Court. I learned that the billing department does not update the rebate department address. The rebate supervisor "Tamara" said this is a well known problem at AT&T and customer service should give me a rebate or credit for $200. She could not do it herself because it had passed 120 days earlier this month and my rebate account was locked with the wrong address. I was transfered to customer service, placed on hold and then disconnected again.
Please send me my rebate or credit me $200 as promised. AT&T was the problem not me. My account is up to date and I will cancel both services shortly if this injustice is not answered. I have been placed on hold for over an hour on two occassions, disconnected and transferred to the wrong department. I am about to disconnect my service but will give you one more chance.

I never received my reward for starting a new service even though I activated it online. They said it was disqualified because I did not order my service online. However, it was my representative who told me about the reward and I feel it was a bait and switch situation and I was used. I have had noting but false information given to me from At&t. I seriously considered transfering my wireless service to them but will ABSOLUTLY NOT be doing that anymore. At this point I am counting down the days to cancel my service and never speak of At&T again.

When I ordered AT&T internet account, they told me I will receive $100 Visa card, I never received it. When I called the customer support, they kept transfer my call to customer support and reward support and made to tired finally they disconnected my call. Even one of the customer service guy used the word "*****". Finally I gave up. All are cheating to get their customer, once they get and 1 year contract, they treat the customers as "******"

I HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE! what a scam! I never received anything either and its been almost 12 weeks. Everyone I speak to gives me the run around and are going in circles as to what the heck is going on. Nobody knows anything as soon as I can get out of my contract and their lousy customer service and their lies, I will. I will never use their service again and go out of my way to express what terrible service I have received!!
Naomis
I have called many time through att customer care! But still no received any!
currently I called in 11/22/2017 and explained all the issues, your representative said that the issues are handled and the $200 visa reward will be re-activated in after 12/22/2017, but I can find no where even the reward center or any email from you.
the original agent gone and how to push the ATT keep the promise when I transfer from Comcast?
Masenjay
Going through same issue, Feb 12th said it will be mail 3 to 5 days. March 5th still hasnt been mailed! ATT likes to keep you on the hook.
South1nm22
Same exact issue. I ordered services in November no $100 card after about 2 months so I called ..promised a new card ..never came now about 5 months later ..hours on the phone . told twice it was in the mail ..talked with a supervisor even and they wouldn’t help ..no card! AT&T has the absolute worst customer service I have even encountered! What a scam to promise something and it never comes! Obviously with all theee issues they’d try and resolve but nope they don’t care at all! Even while I’m on the phone they’re trying to sell me other services..wha whatttttt seriously you can’t handle a simple issue why would I want other services!
Roger74135
I am having a very severe problem that includes lying and cover up and dereliction of a job, dont let anyone tell you there is not an 800 number for office of the president, I was given the number on June 28th I have had a few problems so it was always in my call log, however, NEVER buy a motor g phone! I had to do a factory reset recently so I have to find the envelope I wrote the number on, good luck this community forum crap *****!
NICOLELM16
Wow,. this seems to be an ongoing frequent problem. June 4, 2019..I too was promised a $300 reward card, by a rep in the store and a rep on the phone when I got my new devices. I went to upgrade ONE phone and ended up getting 2 phones and an additional line all because of the reward I was promised. July 03..After 1 month of not receiving the email I called, was told by that rep he couldn't find it, said he took care of it I would get it in 7-10 business days, even gave me a confirmation number. July 19..Still not received, called again, was told she couldn't find it, confirm # didn't mean anything/didn't exist anywhere. She said she was speaking with the reward center while I was on hold and that it had AGAIN been taken care of and I would receive it in 7-10 business days. She said I could track it in the meantime on the rewards site. June 24. checked site, said no reward found. Called again, talked to 7 different people in at least 4 different departments, was given 3 different reasons, none of which made any sense, as to why I was, all of a sudden, now not eligible for the reward. Last person I spoke to said I was eligible and to wait another week as it hadn't been the 10 business days yet?? Aug 13. still nothing, called again, now this last call was actually 4 different calls as I kept getting disconnected as I was transferred 9 Times and spoke to 13 DIFFERENT PEOPLE, none of which in the end was able to help me. Half of them told me I was eligible and they didn't know why I didn't get it and the other half gave me at least 4 different excuses why I wasn't eligible. When I insisted to talk to a supervisor I was told he was on with another call, I insisted on waiting, after waiting for about 1 1/2 hours the man on the phone went through the whole story with me AGAIN. He told me he could do a conference call with reward center since customer service and rewards kept insisting that they couldn't help me and I had to talk to the other one. Now, of course by this point the reward center is closed. He assured me that he PERSONALLY would call me back the next day to do the conference call. Got my number, best time to call everything AUGUST 24th STILL WAITING FOR MY CALL BACK. I will now be canceling my service AS SOON AS IT IS POSSIBLE. I have been with AT&T for over 12 years, I pay them over $400 a month! Really sad that it has come to me cancelling them over a $300 reward, but I really feel that the way I was deceived into purchasing something I didn't need with the promise of the reward "covering the activation and cost for at least 1 year" and then to continually be given the run around and straight up lied to is beyond anything I am willing to accept. I have spent a total of 11 HOURS to get this taken care of and it is obviously clear that they are not interested in taking care of their customers, no matter how long you have stuck with them.

The content on this page is accurate as of the posting date; however, some of our partner offers may have expired. For example, let's say you have the Platinum Card from American Express and you came out ahead in Year 1. In Year 2 and onwards, the effective annual fee is usually $150 if you can take advantage of all of the travel credits and benefits.
Credit card companies make money off transaction fees every time you use the card. This also means that retention offers are based on how much you spend on your card, meaning if you only hit the minimum spend, you'll have a smaller retention offer (if any). On their end, it's a math equation to see if they can get positive expected value from your spend.
When you call into the retention department, the typical offer is $50-$200 for the Amex Platinum. My goal is to get an offer that is worth at least $150 to break even from the annual fee or come out ahead.
If you don't break even, then you can either downgrade or cancel the card. If you don't have any other premium cards, then it may be worth keeping, depending on how much you enjoy lounge access at airports, status at hotels, and benefits.
To illustrate another example of why companies have retention offers, let's look at internet/cable companies. In the SF Bay Area, there's Xfinity and AT&T. When you signup, the contract is usually a year long contract.
In the first year, there's usually a promotional offer, let's say $50/month. After the first year, the price goes up to the regular $80/month. When the first contract is up, you have a decision to make:
1. Cancel the contract and go with another provider
2. Negotiate another offerRetention offers with credit cards is the same idea. Instead of being a service you're paying for, it's based on how much spend you put on the credit card.
When it comes to transferring Ultimate Rewards points, there are two different types of transfers you can make:
Setting up your Ultimate Rewards account
The first thing you’ll need to do is ensure that your Ultimate Rewards-earning credit cards are all associated with the same online account. If you haven’t set up online access, start at Chase.com and click on “Not enrolled? Sign up now” at the right-hand side of the page.
(Screenshot courtesy of chase.com.)
If you already have a Chase account and applied for a new Ultimate Rewards card, it should automatically appear shortly after getting approved. To make sure, log in to your account and click on “Account Activity.” Scroll down and look for the new card.
Note that you can have other (non-Ultimate Rewards) accounts associated with the same Chase username. I currently have several others on the same online account, making it easier to manage all my cards.
It's not possible to undo marking a reward as used. This doesn't necessarily mean that you won't be able to use the reward though. While this isn't always the case, the expiration date and instructions for how to redeem it are sometimes given when you click on the reward.

Yes, you can earn points prior to receiving your membership card in the mail. It takes 2 business days to process and create an account for your membership. The server will look up your account using your phone number. If you are visiting sooner than 2 business days, please keep your receipt and forward to us for a points adjustment within 30 days. If you see your membership number online when you log into your account from the website, you may redeem your Welcome Reward as long as you can show a valid ID that matches your account.
We always welcome your visit to our restaurants, and we appreciate when you bring your friends and family with you. However, points can only be credited to the person who pays the dining check. If you choose to split the bill with another person, we will credit your account for the portion that you pay.
